“Inspired” by true events, and the kind of thing that makes you feel pretty good about where medicine might be going.
It is certainly amusing to read all the high-brow reviews of the movie on sites like Rotten Tomatoes … but the simple fact is that this is an interesting story and the acting is enjoyable on all counts.
The kids have the usual issues, hard for them to show emotions without looking fake (especially big surprise or smiles) but that’s just about every movie.
I liked it … a lot. Taps into your parental instincts perfectly.
